Court Order to Expedite Your Visa or Residence Application

After seeking the appropriate advice and submitting your application for either a Temporary or Permanent Residence permit, it would be fair to expect that this adjudication process should be completed within a reasonable time.

In terms of Temporary Residence applications, these should take no longer than 8 – 10 weeks, and in terms of Permanent Residence, should take no longer than 8 to 10 months.

In the majority of cases, applications take significantly longer than they should, and this delay can cause great inconvenience.

Our offices employ a strategy whereby a court order is obtained, compelling the Department to provide the outcome of your temporary or permanent residence application, or even the outcome of an Appeal.

This process takes in the region of 6 weeks, which is still a significantly shorter period than if one had to simply wait for the Department to provide the outcome of their own accord.

Contact our offices to discuss your options with respect to the expedition of your application.
